Beau Theriot, owner of The OASIS, had a goal of opening a small hamburger joint on Lake Travis in the early 1980's.  That dream became a reality when the doors at The OASIS first opened in 1982. Located on a cliff 450-feet above Austin's Lake Travis, The OASIS has earned the reputation as Sunset Capital of Texas.

Dreams of creating something outstanding above Lake Travis became reality a few years ago when Beau and a partnership began construction on Oasis, Texas.  (Phase I completion is scheduled for late Spring 2011.)  Approximately 30 retail shops are being built for artisans, apparel & accessories, jewelry, gifts, confectioneries and more.  Two new restaurants, Soleil (soleilaustin.com) and Uncle Billy's Brew and Que (unclebillysaustin.com) are now open within the Oasis, Texas complex.

No doubt, you and your guests will enjoy an afternoon and sunset at The Oasis.
